The strong synergy between breeders
and our technical and sanitary services,
aims to achieve, by breed certification,
a more competitive position for our
members to face international
competition.
Cooperl is without equivalent in France, centralised in Brittany and the Loire
Valley consisting of nearly 1,300 breeders,
producing 2,500,000 pigs for production
(1998).
Since its creation in 1966, Cooperl Hunaudaye has worked to
organise and structure production, thus contributing in making
Brittany the premiere food producing region in France.

The organisation’s goal is to guarantee quality production for our Consumers.

The four major elements are:


• Raw materials from certified pigs
• Clear specifications for each production stage
• Process controlled and inspected by an
  independent certification organisation
• Specific labelling for certified products
